Participants

More than 5500 people (mainly nephrologists and nephropathologists) from more than 130 countries have signed up for GlomCon’s newsletter. Approximately 120 to 220 participants attend the weekly live seminars, and 150 nephrologists among more than 800 applicants have been selected to attend the Virtual Glomerular Disease Fellowship.

Participants are especially drawn to the GlomCon seminars as they are more than the usual webinar or didactic lectures. Participants are encouraged to pose questions and comments and contribute to the cooperative knowledge exchange in a collegial and interactive atmosphere. The engaging nature of these meetings has created a networking effect that has led to several international educational and research collaborations.
